$3.6B to be spent on LaGuardia Airport upgrade

New York’s LaGuardia Airport will be getting a state-controlled $3.6 billion upgrade. A new central terminal will be built and will include more open spaces, restaurants, shopping plazas and new parking garages. Contracts for preliminary work have already been awarded by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Read the Skift/The Associated Press story here.
