A plant-based quickserve grows in Southern Calif.

Plant Power is winning fans in Southern California with a quickserve menu of vegan burgers, shakes and fries. The company, which operates two units and aims to open 10 franchise locations in the next few years, joins other growing vegan concepts including New York-based chain By Chloe, which now has 11 restaurants including a London location.
