The Planning and Zoning Commission in Asheville, N.C. this week approved plans for a new luxury hotel in the city’s historical black business district. The 90-room hotel will comprise three existing buildings and two new buildings, and construction may start this fall. It will be a Hilton franchise in the Curio line of hotels.
