Charlotte, N.C.’s Kimpton Tryon Park eyes fall opening

Uptown Charlotte’s newest luxury hotel is opening this fall, with a new name: Kimpton Tryon Park. The 18-story building fronts Romare Bearden Park, on Church Street, adjacent to the new 300 South Tryon office building that’s expected to open in late summer. The 217-room hotel is the second in North Carolina (after a Winston-Salem location) and the first in Charlotte. Read The Charlotte Observer story here
