Colo. group proposes 4-part project that includes indoor water park with hotel

A four-part project that seeks to add new tourism venues to northern Colorado using Regional Tourism Act funds was submitted by a local group called Go NoCo. The proposal includes a conference center, whitewater adventure park, 75,000-square-foot indoor water park with a 330-room hotel and a film center at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, which was the inspiration for the horror novel “The Shining.” Read the American City Business Journals/Denver story here
