Company to spend $2B to $7B on mega-resort in Las Vegas

The Genting Group, based in Malaysia, is expected to break ground on Resorts World Las Vegas in 2014. The 3,500-room mega-resort the group bought earlier this year will be constructed on the former site of the Echelon and will undergo between $2 billion and $7 billion in renovations. Meanwhile, SLS Las Vegas and the former Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall are slated to open in 2014 on the Las Vegas Strip. Read the Las Vegas Business Press story here.
