Consortium tapped for $1.08B Boston Green Line extension

GLX Constructors, a consortium among Fluor Enterprises, Middlesex Corp. and other companies, likely will be the design-build contractor for the 4.7-mile Green Line extension in the Boston area, a decision that’s awaiting board approval from the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. The $1.08 billion project will be the largest construction contract ever awarded by the agency, and GLX’s low bid will allow some wish-list features to be included. Read The Boston Globe story here
