Developers to add hotel to Georgia zoo project

The Board of Commissioners in Morgan County, Ga., has approved a request by the Georgia Zoo and Safari Park developers to add a hotel and amusement rides to the facility. The developers were granted permission to open up to six small rides and up to 80 units of lodging space. A decision for a proposed events space was deferred until the board can review a site plan for the facility. Read the Morgan County Citizen story here
