DoubleTree in Minneapolis joins Mille Lacs Band properties

The Mille Lacs Band Ojibwe‘s business arm has purchased the 297-room DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Park Place Hotel for $37.3 million. Greenwood Hospitality will operate the property. Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures recently renovated the former Crowne Plaza in downtown St. Paul and reflagged it as an InterContinental Hotel. Read the Star Tribune story here
