Extended-stay hotel project progressing in Rochester, Minn.

Civic Center Hotel JV LLC of Provo, Utah paid $2.85 million for the American Legion Post 92 at 315 First Ave. NW on July 17. This acquisition clears the way for EKN Development Group of Newport Beach, Calif. to move ahead with its plans to building a nine-story, 175 room extended-stay hotel on the small downtown site.
