Food Lion embarks on 71-store remodel plan in Va.

Food Lion will invest $110 million in initiatives including remodeling 71 stores in the Richmond, Va., area and supporting its Food Lion Feeds hunger relief efforts. The Richmond store remodels will include redesigned layouts that are easier to navigate, more store-level merchandising and an expanded selection of local items, natural and organic products and beer and wine.
