Forecast: Arizona’s eateries to get the biggest bump in 2014

Arizona’s restaurants are on track to book 4.9 percent sales growth in 2014, making it the fastest-growing state in the country for restaurant sales, followed by North Dakota, Texas, Florida and Colorado, according to NRA data. The state’s restaurant industry was among the fastest growing before the recession hit and among the worst affected by the downturn, which brought the closure of about 500 Arizona eateries.
