Hawaii hotels go green with renovations

The Andaz Maui at Wailea will likely be the first resort in Hawaii to obtain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification. All of its dining outlets also offer locally grown ingredients. The Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu is working to create a 59,000-square-foot native plant and rock garden on all lower roofs.
