Hersha buys Ritz-Carlton in D.C. market for $32.5M

Hersha Hospitality Trust of Harrisburg, Pa., has bought the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown from New York-based Millennium Partners for $32.5 million, records show. Coming on the heels of the real estate investment trust’s purchase of the St. Gregory Hotel for $57 million last June, the deal is viewed as another indicator of new life in the Washington, D.C., market.
