Hilton-branded hotel to rise in San Jose, Calif.

OTO Development is looking to acquire a parcel of land in San Jose, Calif., on which it plans to build a 145-room hotel. The company plans to open the property under a Hilton brand, but it has not yet announced which brand it will use. The San Jose area has recently been seeing an increase in hotel development activity, with 17 hotels in its development pipeline. Read The Oakland Tribune story here
