Historic Va. hotel to become part of Autograph Collection

The Cavalier Hotel has been a fixture in Virginia Beach, Va., since 1927, when it opened just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Ninety years later, the hotel is preparing for a rebirth: In December, it will unveil the results of a $75 million renovation and restoration when it reopens as a member of Marriott International‘s Autograph Collection.
