Inside the new Tavern on the Green

The new operators of New York City’s iconic Tavern on the Green will open the restaurant at the end of the month, with a design that harkens back to the eatery’s historic past and a modern, seasonal and ingredient-driven menu. Owners Jim Caiola and David Salama borrowed $16.7 million to transform the restaurant, which closed in 2009 when the former operator’s lease expired. Read the Nation’s Restaurant News story here.
