Kansas City Marriott sold to Carey Watermark Investors

Carey Watermark Investors has bought the 295-room Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza for close to $57 million. The transaction includes an investment of $14.8 million by Carey Watermark for capital expenditures and other costs related to the hotel’s purchase. The property is slated for improvement projects including the addition of Marriott’s Greatroom lobby concept and enhancements to its food-and-beverage facilities. Read the GlobeSt.com story here
