Multiuse project with Hampton Inn eyed for El Cajon, Calif.

As the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown El Cajon inches closer to completion, the city has closed a deal with another company for a second hotel about two miles down the road. The City Council approved the start of construction of a Hampton Inn by Hilton at the northeast corner of North Magnolia Avenue and Fletcher Parkway. Read The San Diego Union-Tribune story here
