Retailers to receive grants for growth in Albany, N.Y.

Economic development groups have launched a grant program designed to boost retail in downtown Albany, N.Y. The programs will offer grants of up to $100,000 to help new retail businesses launch, $30,000 for existing merchants to spruce up their shops and $5,000 to launch ideas and events such as outdoor markets and pop-up shops.
