Rising Lynchburg, Va., lodging revenues top $2M

Hospitality revenue in Lynchburg, Va., reached $2.2 million in fiscal 2017, up nearly 3% from 2016, according to the local tourism bureau. New hotels are in the pipeline, and a lodging tax increase enacted in May is expected to generate an annual $346,000. Read The News & Advance story here
