Sharp HealthCare will add a seven-story, $239 million medical tower to Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center in southern San Diego County, the company announced Monday. The California county is in the midst of a hospital building boom driven in part by a growing population of older residents as well as state-mandated upgrades for seismic safety.
