Shuttered Detroit-area hotel nears rebirth as Radisson

Now undergoing an overhaul, the former Metropolitan Hotel in Romulus, Mich., is set to reopen this summer as the Radisson Hotel Detroit Metro Airport. RKJ Hotel Management of Henderson, Nev., owns the 274-room hotel, which has been closed since 2012. First Hospitality Group Inc. of Rosemont, Ill., will operate the property.
