Topping-off ceremony marks San Diego casino expansion milestone

A topping-off ceremony was held at the $285 million expansion to the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif., and work should wrap up in 2018. The last concrete was placed at the 14-story tower, and when work is done, the resort will have almost 1,100 hotel rooms, a 4.5-acre pool, restaurants and event space.
