U.S. Travel Association: Sector will grow in 2013

The U.S. Travel Association predicts that domestic travel volumes in the United States this year will surpass peak levels in 2007. The group forecasts a 1.8 percent rise in the number of domestic trips from the previous year to 2.05 billion. However, travel growth is expected to slow down in the business and leisure segments in 2013 over uncertainties regarding the impending “fiscal cliff,” the group says.
