The 443-room Allerton Hotel in Chicago has been sold to Paris-based Warwick International Hotels for an undisclosed sum. The new owner said it will rename the property as the Warwick Allerton Hotel, Chicago, and is studying options to revive the property’s famous top-story “Tip Top Tap” lounge bar.
