Work starts on $2.3B Spring District mixed-use project in Wash.

A $2.3 billion development called the Spring District in Bellevue, Wash., is moving ahead today as demolition of a distribution center begins the project’s first phase. The 36-acre development will be made up of 16 blocks of properties, consisting of office buildings, retail areas, a hotel and more than 1,000 multifamily residences.
