Based in Charlotte NC and with additional manufacturing locations in Mayfield KY, Houston TX, Greeley CO, and Nunn CO, Salient is renowned for its expertise in the design and manufacture of generator docking stations, switchboards, switchgear, control panels, and other automation and control-based power solutions; with a focus on serving the emergent needs of the data center sector, and other commercial and industrial
markets.

Salient was formed through the merger of Charlotte’s long-standing PSI Power & Controls (a leading manufacturer of custom electrical control panels and emergency power products for over 50 years) and Colorado-based Salient Power Solutions. The two companies have since rebranded as one company, supplying high-quality emergency power products as well as automation and control solutions to the electrical industry. Like Trystar, all of Salient’s products are manufactured in the USA to the highest standards. The trends of electrification and digitalization, as well as the need for resilient, reliable, clean power have led to significant growth at both companies.
