$1.2B L.A. development moves forward

The Economic Development Committee of the Los Angeles City Council agreed to advance a proposed $1.2 billion development that would include expansion of the Los Angeles Convention Center and creation of a $700 million hotel. An analyst is recommending the city seek a public-private partnership for the convention center expansion and work with Anschutz Entertainment Group to develop financial incentives for the hotel.
