IHG to run hotel in L.A.’s Wilshire Grand tower

InterContinental Hotels Group has been named as the operator of the nearly 900-room hotel being built in downtown Los Angeles as part of Korean Air’s $1.1 billion Wilshire Grand development. The hotel would have its entrance on the tower’s 70th floor and would have its rooms occupy the structure’s 31st to 69th floors. The 73-story property is scheduled to open in 2017.
