Graduate Hotels acquires historical Durant Hotel

The 87-year-old, 143-room Hotel Durant Berkeley in California has been purchased by new brand Graduate Hotels, which describes itself as a team of counterculture investors. The brand has acquired hotels in college cities, with plans to add more throughout the country, to give guests “memory-making journeys.” Graduate Hotels is held by Chicago-based AJ Capital Partners.
