$1.5B mixed-use project is set to rise in Miami

A plan for a $1.5 billion mixed-use development to be jointly developed by Miami Worldcenter Associates, Taubman Centers and The Forbes Company, has been unanimously approved by Miami officials. The project, dubbed Miami Worldcenter, which will span several blocks, will include a 1,800-room hotel, a convention center and retail space. Read the Reuters story here
