7 new hotels planned for York County, S.C.

York County, S.C., has seen sudden growth in economic development and tourism, leading to plans for seven new hotels. If all projects go forward, the number of hotel rooms in the area will increase by 20%. A Hampton Inn opened in July, and a Courtyard by Marriott property is among the properties in the pipeline.
