The BB&T building in Asheville, N.C., is set to be redeveloped to include two new hotels. Plans call for a 120-room hotel on the site of the property’s parking deck, to open as an AC Hotel by Marriott. The main building would include an upscale hotel with 150 to 170 rooms, condominium and vacation rental properties on the six upper floors and retail outlets on the ground floor.
