Broadway Plaza’s $250M makeover begins

Macerich Co.’s $250 million redevelopment of Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, Calif., is set to begin next week. The renovation, which will create a 1.1 million-square-foot luxury retail center, is expected to deliver in the spring of 2017.
