Conversion project on Blake Hotel in N.C. is unveiled

Starwood Hotels & Resorts plans to convert the two towers of the Blake Hotel in Charlotte, N.C., into separate hotel properties under the Sheraton and Le Méridien brands. The $20 million project will include extensive renovations on all guest rooms. The Sheraton property is expected to open Aug. 15, and the Le Méridien property is set to open in January next year.
