Green Republic, a partnership between Republic Urban Properties and Barry Swenson Builder, is building a $300 million mixed-use project in a blighted area of San Jose, Calif. Ground could break in 2016. The project will be done in phases, and the end product of this area will be high-density market-rate, mid-rise and high-rise housing, with the gem being the park.
