Drought prompts hotels to take sustainability steps

Some hotels in the Western U.S. are dealing with a drought that has plagued the area for years by taking steps to develop more sustainable practices. CityCenter in Las Vegas, for example, has its own plant that produces hot water and some of the site’s electricity. Bathrooms feature low-flow sinks, and linens are washed every third day.
