Hotels focus on renovations in central Phoenix market

More than half of the 35 million visitors to Arizona in 2014 went to the Phoenix area, and hoteliers are shifting focus to the area in response. Lodging Econometrics‘ Phoenix Market Hotel Construction Pipeline report noted that 42 projects are underway, 33 of which are in the Phoenix suburbs. Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and InterContinental Hotels are responsible for nearly three-quarters of the pipeline. Read the Hotel Management online story here
