Louisville, Ky.-based 21c Museum Hotels has won an auction for a downtown Nashville, Tenn., building on the National Register of Historic Places and plans to turn the property into a boutique, luxury hotel. With its winning $6.8 million bid for the 1890s office building, 21c Museum Hotels continues a spate of expansion, with new hotels in Durham, N.C., Cincinnati and other cities.
