New Uniqlo store to help revive downtown Denver mall

If the upper 16th Street Mall is perceived as a dowdy stepsister to the vibrant lower end, the Denver Pavilions is working to become an equalizer. This week’s announcement that Japan-based fashion retailer Uniqlo will open a store at the Pavilions brings an element of commercial pizazz to the office-heavy upper section of the mall.
