Resort firm acquires landmark N.J. beachfront hotel

Icona Resorts has added a another beachfront property in Cape May County, N.J. with acquisition of the historical Golden Inn in Avalon. The luxury hotel management company two years ago opened the Icona Diamond Beach, now TripAdvisor’s top-rated New Jersey beachfront hotel. Plans call for an overhaul of the Golden Inn and redesign of its 155 rooms, pool, beach bar and restaurant. Read the PhillyVoice story here
