Resurgent San Diego has nearly 10,000 rooms on horizon

The San Diego area has emerged from a 2009-13 standstill with a boom in new hotel development. More than 2,000 rooms are under construction, and at least 7,400 more are planned. Three hotels with more than 1,000 rooms are being built in downtown San Diego, which reportedly didn’t gain a single room between 2010 and 2015. Read The San Diego Union-Tribune story here
