Schimenti Construction, Ridgefield, Conn., is building IT’SUGAR’s newest retail location on New York City’s upper west side at the intersection of 61st Street and Broadway. The colorful and energetic candy land adventure, designed by Sargenti Architects, is scheduled to be completed in August.
The 1,989 square-foot store features Bold colors and wide entrances are part of the store’s design scheme, which is intended to entice shoppers to stop and shop inside. IT’SUGAR also has stores in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Palm Beach, Fla., as well as in international destinations such as Grand Cayman, Dubai and London.
IT’SUGAR is the exclusive home to several of the world’s largest boxes of candy, including Nerds, Laffy Taffy, Gobstoppers, Sweetarts and Poprocks, and offers thousands of sugar-intensified goodies, signature appeal, accessories and novelty gifts.
