Summit Hotel Properties is buying four hotels in Southern California and Houston. The purchases, which are scheduled to close by the end of the year, total $96.5 million. The California hotels are Hampton Inn & Suites properties in Goleta, Camarillo and Poway. Summit is also buying a Hilton Garden Inn in Houston.
