Wynn Resorts to break ground for $2.1B Boston-area casino

Wynn Resorts says it will start construction “immediately” on its casino in Everett, Mass., after it was awarded an environmental permit that the neighboring city of Somerville challenged them on. Somerville plans to still appeal, even as casino owner Steve Wynn ramps up the resort’s activity and prepares to hire nearly 4,000 workers for its project. Read the Boston Herald story here
